1940s Bikini Set Playsuit Swimsuit

This darling set was found in Memphis TN a couple years ago. I found it labeled in a bag with another suit from 1943. I love when people label their things 🫶. This 2 piece set has a double lined halter style top with white cotton eyelet detailing. The bottoms are a skirt with bloomers attached. Button closure up the back with mismatching buttons. There is no label on this suit or size tag. 

condition: this swimsuit has a handful of faint blemishes with also some imperfections from wear. There are a couple .5” areas at the waist band missing stitching. Please see photos for reference.
